Privacy Policy — LivLuv
The short version
Everything LivLuv does happens on your device. The app keeps a private usage journal on your device so that, if you choose, you can share it with us to help improve the app — nothing leaves your device unless you deliberately send it. There are no accounts, no analytics services, no advertising, and no tracking.
What the app stores — on your device only
- Your presets and settings — visual preferences, breathing-pattern configurations, cycle durations — so the app remembers them between uses.
- Breath-calibration data — the breathing pattern and timings the app senses when you use the calibration feature, used solely to personalize your sessions.
- A usage journal — a local record of how you use the app: sessions started and completed, features and presets used, configuration values, and timestamps. Its purpose is to let you show us exactly what happened when you want to give feedback.
You can delete all of this at any time by deleting the app.
Sharing the usage journal (your choice, always)
The journal is never transmitted automatically. If you choose to share it — for example, using an in-app share action while giving beta feedback — it is sent by you, through the channel you pick (such as email or Messages). When we receive a journal you've shared, we use it solely to understand your experience and improve the app. It contains usage and configuration data as described above; it does not contain your name, contacts, photos, location, or anything from outside the app. If you'd like a shared journal deleted from our records, email support@bionicintentions.com and we will delete it.
What we do NOT do
- No automatic data transmission of any kind; no servers of ours receive anything unless you explicitly share it.
- No analytics or advertising SDKs; no third-party data recipients.
- No tracking across apps or websites; no accounts; no identity collection.
Music library
If you use features that play your own music, the app reads your device's music library on-device so you can pick songs. Your library information is not transmitted anywhere.
Health and wellness note
LivLuv is a wellness app for relaxation and breathing practice. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you have a medical condition, consult your health provider before beginning any breathing practice.
TestFlight beta testing
If you use a beta version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may collect feedback you choose to submit (including screenshots and crash logs) and share it with us so we can improve the app. That collection is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy; we receive only what Apple provides to developers.
Apple frameworks
The app uses standard Apple frameworks (motion, haptics, audio, graphics) that operate on-device, within Apple's platform privacy protections.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change (for example, optional accounts or sharing features), we will update this policy before those features ship and note the new effective date here.
